PROVE YOURSELF

Many believers say that they love Jesus but they do not follow nor obey Him. Jesus said: ” “He who has My commandments and keeps them is the one who loves Me; and he who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and will disclose Myself to him.” … “If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our abode with him. 24“He who does not love Me does not keep My words; and the word which you hear is not Mine, but the Father’s who sent Me.” John 14:21,23,24.
We prove our love for Jesus by obeying Him, His words and His commandments, as recorded in the gospels, Matthew, Mark, Luke and John. We also prove our love for Jesus by following and serving Him. Jesus said:“If anyone serves Me, he must follow Me; and where I am, there My servant will be also;”John 12:26.
If we really love Jesus, we will absolutely obey Him, do as He commanded,  repent  and be baptized, and go after Him, listen to His voice and follow Him. We will be where He wants us to be, doing His will.
If we disobey Jesus and refuse to follow  Him, we prove that we do not love Him, and are not worthy of Him. 
Many believers think they can serve Jesus by being religious, according to their own plans and visions but they are mistaken,  we can only serve Jesus and be fruitful for the kingdom of heaven, if we listen to Him and follow His guidance.
Jesus discloses Himself to those who prove that they love Him, by obeying Him. He gives His Holy Spirit in them to be with them, to teach and guide them. They experience His presence all the time.
