JESUS WANTS TO LIVE WITH YOU

Jesus says: “‘Behold, I stand at the door and knock; if anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and will dine with him, and he with Me. 21‘He who overcomes, I will grant to him to sit down with Me on My throne, as I also overcame and sat down with My Father on His throne. 22‘He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.’” Revelation 3:20-22.

Our body is a temple for the Holy Spirit for Him to dwell in, but He will not come in and dwell in us if we do not invite Him into our lives. Jesus wants to give us eternal life, through Him dwelling in us, guiding and teaching us.

Most people just want to believe in Jesus for eternal life, but they don’t want Jesus in their lives. They want to live their lives for their own lusts, pleasures and desires. If we want to have eternal life we will have to invite Jesus in and live our life for Him, in obedience to Him. First we have to repent of sin and from following our own ways, be baptized in water, live holy so that we will be a suitable temple for the Holy Spirit. Then we can invite Jesus in. He will teach and guide us, every step of the way, but if we do not follow and obey Him, we will not have eternal life.

Many professing Christians are just religious. They practice religion, but Jesus does not live in them. They do not know Him, neither does He know them. When they die, He will say to them: ”Go away I never knew you, you workers of unrighteousness.

Have we invited Jesus in? Does He dell in us? Are we a temple of the Holy Spirit? Do we expect Jesus to have a dwelling place for us in heaven when our life on earth is over?

May Jesus bless you.
