ALL OUT OF LOVE

The reason why anyone would follow Jesus, is out of love. That is why so very few do follow Him. Many say that they do love Jesus, but their love is not  real because they do not obey Him.  Jesus said: “If you love Me, you will keep My commandments.” John 14:15. The commandments of Jesus are His words and teachings, as also recorded in Matthew, Mark, Luke and John.
Jesus said:“He who loves father or mother more than Me is not worthy of Me; and he who loves son or daughter more than Me is not worthy of Me. 38“And he who does not take his cross and follow after Me is not worthy of Me. 39“He who has found his life will lose it, and he who has lost his life for My sake will find it.”Matthew 10:37-39. If we regard any person or anything more than Jesus, then we love those things more than Him.
Love is not words and emotion, it is action. 
If we love Jesus we will gladly do what He commanded, and we will seek in everything to please Him. If we love Him, we will be thinking about Him, talking about Him, and testifying about Him. 
If we love Jesus, we will be seeking His approval, praying, seeking His guidance, listening to Him, following and obeying Him. We will be living for Him and His kingdom.
Do we really love Jesus?
