The true followers of Jesus, the called out ones, the Ekklesia, are the true church, the Body of Christ, the temple of the Holy Spirit in which He dwells. It is a Spiritual Body of born again believers, of which Jesus Christ Himself is the Head. The true followers of Jesus, do not go to church. They ARE the church.
Jesus never commanded His disciples to build churches. He commanded them to make disciples that obey His teachings, His commands and hear His voice and follow Him. They are led by the Holy Spirit, that He gives in those who obey Him and who wish to follow Him.
The true church is not an organization or an institution. Church institutions are man made organizations that are not of the kingdom of God. Neither do they serve Jesus nor the kingdom of God. They serve their leadership. They are the FALSE CHURCH that emerged after the true church, the Body of Christ, was born. They deceived born again followers of Jesus to become part of their organizations, so they stole His sheep and made their own converts. They have been deceiving and robbing believers from the beginning.
The first followers of Jesus did not belong to any church organizations. They met in houses. Fellowship with each other, in the Lord, was their way of living. They did not have any church buildings neither did they build church buildings. Whenever they met their conversation was about Jesus and following Him.
Church people will tell you that the first believers met in the temple. That is not true. They did not meet in the Jewish temple. They went there to share the gospel of Jesus Christ with the unbelieving Jews, who were still waiting for Messiah, to come. Soon they were persecuted, jailed, flogged and expelled from the temple. Go and read about this in the book of Acts. The temple was destroyed 70 AD, never to be rebuilt. Those who tell you that the first followers of Jesus met in the temple have been deceived and they are not reading the scriptures. The Jews are still waiting for Messiah to come. They do not believe in Jesus. I dare any Christian to go and preach Jesus Christ in a synagogue.
Ever since the beginning of Christianity so called church leaders have emerged who started their own churches with their own doctrines, not the teachings and commands of Jesus Christ. Churches are not making disciples of Jesus and therefor the result is a godless society with many professing Christians who are in fact not followers of Jesus. They are deceived church goers who differ little from unbelievers. They are all sinners. There are millions of churches all over the world, thousands of denominations but very few disciples of Jesus Christ.
The biggest threat to the kingdom of God is the FALSE CHURCH. Church members believe that they have salvation but they do not know nor follow Jesus. They are not interested in Jesus nor the truth because they believe they are already saved. They feel safe in their deception but they do not realize they are on their way to hell. The FALSE CHURCHES are the mass transit to hell.
The only way to eternal life is to know and follow Jesus Christ. You must know Him and He must know you. Your relationship with Jesus must be REAL. You have to be a DISCIPLE, not just a believer. Jesus Christ gives the Holy Spirit in those who believe in Him, accept Him, and obey His words as they were also recorded in Matthew, Mark, Luke and John. They are born again and become children of God, who HEAR His VOICE and FOLLOW Him, every day.
The wages of sin is death. Jesus Christ came to take away the sins of the world. All have sinned and come short of the glory of God and unless their sins are taken away they will end up in eternal damnation. There is no forgiveness of sin without the shedding of blood. Jesus, the Son of God, came in the same form as we are, flesh and blood. He was born of a virgin and He Himself did not commit any sin. He gave Himself as a sacrifice for the sins of the whole world. He was crucified and died. By His own power He raised Himself from the death after three days and He ascended to heaven. He overcame death and the grave, and He lives for all eternity. He gives salvation, eternal life, to those who accept and obey Him, repent of their sins, are baptized in water and live in obedience to His words. Jesus is ALIVE. He reveals Himself, discloses Himself, to those who obey His words. They get to know Him for real.
The FALSE CHURCHES only preach HALF the gospel. Jesus said:“I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me will live, even though he dies. 26And everyone who lives and believes in Me will never die.”John 11:25,26. Jesus also said:”24Truly, truly, I tell you, whoever hears My word and believes Him who sent Me has eternal life and will not come under judgment. Indeed, he has crossed over from death to life.”John 5:24. From these and other scriptures the FALSE CHURCHES preach that you only need to believe in Jesus, to have eternal life. They ignore the rest of what Jesus commanded. Jesus said:”46“Why do you call Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ and do not do what I say? 47“Everyone who comes to Me and hears My words and acts on them, I will show you whom he is like: 48he is like a man building a house, who dug deep and laid a foundation on the rock; and when a flood occurred, the torrent burst against that house and could not shake it, because it had been well built. 49“But the one who has heard and has not acted accordingly, is like a man who built a house on the ground without any foundation; and the torrent burst against it and immediately it collapsed, and the ruin of that house was great.” Luke 6:46-49.
The FALSE CHURCHES are deceiving people to build on sand, without foundation, because they do not teach them to follow and obey Jesus. They give them false hope and false security. In the end those poor deceived believers will be devastated when Jesus says to them:”Go away I never knew you,”
Jesus warned against the FALSE PROPHETS of the FALSE CHURCHES. He said: 15“Beware of the false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly are ravenous wolves.16“You will know them by their fruits. Grapes are not gathered from thorn bushes nor figs from thistles, are they? 17“So every good tree bears good fruit, but the bad tree bears bad fruit. 18“A good tree cannot produce bad fruit, nor can a bad tree produce good fruit. 19“Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. 20“So then, you will know them by their fruits.
21“Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father who is in heaven will enter. 22“Many will say to Me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in Your name, and in Your name cast out demons, and in Your name perform many miracles?’ 23“And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; DEPART FROM ME, YOU WHO PRACTICE LAWLESSNESS.’Matthew 7:15-23
The FALSE CHURCHES preach the false GRACE GOSPEL and ONCE SAVED ALWAYS SAVED, and many other lies, that will take multitudes to hell.
Get out of the FALSE CHURCHES. Do not listen to the false prophets in the FALSE CHURCHES. They cannot save you. They are deceiving you. Follow and obey Jesus, His words as also recorded in Matthew, Mark, Luke and John. Repent and be baptized for the forgiveness of your sins. Ask Jesus to baptize you in the Holy Spirit. Live every day for Jesus. Be a witness for Jesus, wherever you go, in your work, in your school, in your home. Be the church, the Body of Christ for Him to dwell in.
