SEEK JESUS NOT OTHER CHRISTIANS

Christian believers have been brainwashed to go to church and seek fellowship with other Christians. They are more concerned about church and fellowship with other believers than fellowship with Jesus.

Fellowship with other believers does not make you a follower of Jesus. You can have fellowship with other believers and still be on your way to hell.

Our salvation depends on our relationship with Jesus, whether we follow and obey Him every day and are pleasing to Him. Jesus said:”If anyone wishes to come after Me, he must deny himself, and take up his cross daily and follow Me.” Luke 9:23.

Most Christians never become disciples of Jesus, they think they only need to believe in Jesus for salvation, but that is a lie. If we believe in Jesus, we must obey Him, obey His teachings and commands as recorded in Matthew, Mark, Luke and John. Repent and be baptized for the forgiveness of your sin, stop sinning, seek Jesus with all your heart and He will give His Holy Spirit in you, to teach and guide you every day.

Most Christians do not know what it means to repent. They have been taught that it means to only change your mind, which is illogical. To repent means to change your ways, turn from sin, turn from evil, turn from following your own selfish desires and going after Jesus; being holy, righteous and seeking to please Him.

Most Christians do not know what it means to take up your cross and follow Jesus. They have been taught to believe in the cross of Jesus and in what He did on the cross, but it will be of no benefit to them if they do not pick up their own cross and follow Jesus every day. We each have a cross to bear. We will all suffer rejection, persecution, discrimination, deprivation and unfair treatment if we follow Jesus. We will be hated for associating with Jesus. That is the cross that you will have to bear if you follow Jesus.

The fellowship that is referred to in the Bible is not the same as that which is presented by the churches. The assembly of the saints is not a social gathering, eating and drinking, having a good time. with doughnuts and coffee and idle talk, loud music, special effects, dancing and foolish monkey tricks, which they call worship. If that is the type of fellowship that you are looking for you are not following Jesus, you are in the company of the false Christians who worship satan and the flesh.

Hebrews 10:24,25 says:”and let us consider how to stimulate one another to love and good deeds, 25not forsaking our own assembling together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another; and all the more as you see the day drawing near.” The apostle Paul wrote in 1 Corinthians 14:26 “When you assemble, each one has a psalm, has a teaching, has a revelation, has a tongue, has an interpretation. Let all things be done for edification.” It is serious business, it is about worshiping in Spirit and in truth, encouraging each other in their walk with the Lord. It is about the manifestation of the gifts of the Holy Spirit, “If all prophesy, and an unbeliever or an ungifted man enters, he is convicted by all, he is called to account by all;25the secrets of his heart are disclosed; and so he will fall on his face and worship God, declaring that God is certainly among you.” 1 Corinthians 14:24,25. Sinning backslidden Christians and unbelievers cannot tolerate it to be in the assembly of the saints. Darkness hates light, it flees from light. You will not find fake Christians in the assembly of the saints.

Do not seek the fellowship of men and women. Seek Jesus, seek holiness, seek His will. He will guide you and you will meet up with others who serve Him in Spirit and in truth. There are not many, but they are the true saints, the sons of God.

May Jesus bless you.
