Only Jesus Christ can give us eternal life. Only Jesus Christ can guide us into all truth, but we have to go to Him. We have to ask Him, we have to seek Him and we have to follow Him. Most believers do not go to Jesus when they are in trouble, when they’re looking for solutions. Many of them go to their Bible. They seek solutions in the scriptures. Others run to other people, but they don’t go to Jesus and that is why they do not receive.
Believers want other believers to pray for them, they want other believers to ask God for them, but they themselves don’t go to Jesus. Jesus Christ is the only one who can help us, but if we don’t go to Him we will not receive, and that is why believers perish. They don’t go to Jesus. They don’t follow Jesus, they don’t obey Jesus, and therefore they do not have the confidence to go to Him in prayer. They do not really believe.
Jesus Christ alone is the way and the truth and the life. He is the one that gives life to everything, but if we don’t go to him and if we don’t stay with Him, we will not have life. Are you following Jesus? Are you with Jesus? Do you go to Jesus with everything? Do you have life? Do you have Jesus Christ?
