We read in a Chapter 14 of the Gospel of John, that Jesus said that:” the one who loves Me is the one who keeps My Commandments, and Me and My Father will love him, and we will come and make our dwelling place with him, and I will reveal Myself to him.” Jesus promised to come and dwell with, to live with, each and every person who loves Him, who keeps His Commandments.
Does Jesus dwell with you and me? Do we love Him? Do we obey His commands? Does He reveal Himself to us? Do we have space for Him? Do we care for Him or do we care for other things? Is our life too full of other things, too full of ourselves and our own desires, and sin. Is there space in our house for Jesus, in our dwelling place? Or is it too full of other things? If Jesus is not living with us now, when we die we will stand before Him and He will say:”Go away I never knew you.” He will turn us away, because then He will not have any space for us. Is Jesus living with you and me today?
