Show your Love

Many believers say that they love Jesus but they have no business with Him. They do not obey Him, they do not follow Him. Jesus said:”If you love me, obey my commands.” If we love Jesus we will obey His words, His commands as also recorded in the gospels, Matthew, Mark, Luke and John. We will pray, we will spend time with Him. We will seek His presence, we will seek the guidance of the Holy Spirit in our lives. We will seek His confirmation that He is pleased with us. We will seek to do His will. We will seek revelation from Him and we will DO what He tells us to do. We will follow His guidance. We will demonstrate our love, we will show it by our deeds.
Faith without works is dead. If we do not show our love for Him through our obedience to Him then both our faith and our love is non-existent.
That is why Jesus will say to many believers:”Go away I never knew you, you workers of wickedness.” They never had any business with Jesus Christ. They had no relationship with Him. Are we showing our love and our dedication to Jesus through our deeds, through our relationship with Him and our obedience to Him? Do we truly love and follow Him?
