Jesus Christ is God’s blueprint, His example of how every child of God should live. If we follow Jesus Christ then we become sons of God. He is the first born among many sons and He will lead many sons to glory. Those who follow His example become sons of God.
If we do not follow and obey Jesus Christ we will not have eternal life. Many believers only want to believe in Jesus and have salvation because they believe in Him but they do not OBEY Him, neither do they FOLLOW Him. If we do not follow Jesus and DO as He did then we will not have eternal life.
Jesus came to DO THE WILL OF THE FATHER. If we believe in Jesus and we OBEY Him, turn away from sin, be baptized in water as He was, and we receive the Baptism in the Holy Spirit as He received the Holy Spirit and we are guided by the Holy Spirit then we CAN DO the will of God and be like Jesus.
Jesus is the WAY and the TRUTH and the LIFE and the showed us THE WAY. He will show us the WAY every step of the way IF we follow Him and become LIKE HIM.
Is Jesus your and my role model? Are we following Him? Are we becoming sons of God who do the will of God?
