You don’t need a Bible to follow Jesus

You do not need a Bible to follow Jesus Christ. In reality their knowledge of the Bible and their interpretation of the Bible prevents most believers from following Jesus Christ because they depend on their knowledge, they depend on their insight and they are not led by the Holy Spirit.

We can only please God if we are led by the Spirit of God. As Paul also wrote in Romans 8:14 “Those who are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.” You cannot please Jesus if you are not listening to His Spirit, if you are not guided by His Holy Spirit. If we do not have the Spirit of Christ, the Holy Spirit living in us, guiding us then we cannot be pleasing to Him, then we do not belong to Him.

We are united with Jesus Christ through His Spirit that dwells in us and that guides us. The Spirit ALONE gives life. I few trust in what we hear, what we read in the Bible then our faith is based on hearsay and on interpretation and not on our obedience to Jesus, our relationship with Him; then we are not following Him. We must PRAY, WAIT on Him and be led by the Holy Spirit to be pleasing to Him.

YOU DON’T NEED A BIBLE TO FOLLOW JESUS, YOU NEED HIS SPIRIT. After you have read the Bible, after you have heard of Jesus Christ YOU NEED TO GET TO KNOW JESUS. You need to seek Him until you find Him and then you have to follow Him or else He will say to you one day:”Go away I never knew you.” You can know the Bible by heart but if you are not led by the Spirit of God you do not belong to Him.

The Bible does not prove the existence or the reality of Jesus Christ. The POWER of Jesus Christ in those who follow Him PROVES THAT THE BIBLE IS THE TRUTH. It is all about Jesus Christ, nothing else. All you need is Jesus Christ and His Holy Spirit to guide you every step of the way.

May Jesus bless you.
