The moment that you accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Master you give up all your rights to yourself and after that you deny yourself, pick up your cross every day and follow Jesus. You do not defend yourself, you turn the other cheek, you have no rights.
A person who is bearing a cross cannot defend himself. We are servants of the kingdom of God. We are here to do the will of God. This world is not our place, it is not our kingdom, we don’t defend it. We are of the kingdom of God. The problem is that most believers never gave up their rights to themselves, they never started following Jesus Christ, they never submitted themselves to Jesus and became part of His kingdom. They still want to build their own kingdoms here on earth. They still want to defend their own kingdoms here on earth. They do not belong to Jesus, they are of this world.
