Live by Revelation

You can only know Jesus Christ for real if you get to know Him by revelation. Paul was on the road to Damascus when Jesus appeared to him. He had this vision, he saw a bright light and he fell on his knees and he was blinded. He could not see after that. He had a revelation of Jesus and after he had that revelation, he had many more revelations and that is how Paul got to know Jesus Christ.
You and I need a revelation of Jesus or else we do not know Him. Then we only know ABOUT Him. It is written that the righteous shall live by faith. Our faith comes about from the revelation that we have of Jesus Christ. Now, how do we get that revelation? We receive revelation of Jesus if we believe the gospel of Jesus, if we believe in Jesus, we obey Him and then He will reveal Himself to us. He says, repent, and be baptized and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. I read in John 14:21 Jesus says “He who has My commandments and keeps them, he it is who loves Me; and he who loves Me shall be loved by My Father, and I will love him and will disclose Myself to him.”
If you believe the words of Jesus and you obey them, you turn away from sin, you repent, you cry out to Him for mercy, you obey Him, you are baptized in water, He will give you the gift of the Holy Spirit, He will reveal Himself to you but you need to seek that revelation all the time. If you don’t seek the revelation, you won’t receive it. You need to FOLLOW Jesus. You need to seek Him with all your heart. If you don’t receive revelation of Jesus you cannot know Him. Most believers DON’T KNOW JESUS. They don’t know the One in whom they believe. Paul said ”I know the One in whom I have believed”(2 Timothy 1:12) Dear friend, DO YOU KNOW THE ONE IN WHOM YOU HAVE BELIEVED? Or do you just believe in a book, in the Bible? Do you just believe based on somebody else’s testimony, or do you know the One in whom you believe? Ask Jesus, seek Him and He will reveal Himself to you!
