The Price of Salvation – Obedience Unto Death

The price of salvation is obedience, OBEDIENCE UNTO DEATH. Jesus Christ Himself obeyed the Father unto death, as we read in Philippians 2:5 “Having this attitude in yourselves which was also in Christ Jesus, 6who, although He existed in the form of God, did not regard equality with God a thing to be grasped, 7but emptied Himself, taking on the form of a bond-servant, and being made in the likeness of men. 8Being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself by becoming OBEDIENT TO THE POINT OF DEATH, even death on a cross.”
If we want eternal life, we must become obedient to Jesus even unto the point of death. Jesus said:”Why do you call Me Lord, Lord and DO NOT AS I SAY.” If we believe in Jesus Christ that He is indeed, LORD, KING and MASTER and we accept Him as our LORD, then we will OBEY Him, we will DO as He commanded. That is the price of salvation. Faith leads us to OBEDIENCE to Jesus Christ. If we do not serve Him as LORD, unto death, then we do not belong to His Kingdom.
