Biggest Lie: The Bible is the Word of God

 The biggest lie that Christians believe is that the Bible is
the Word of God. They believe in the Bible but they do not believe in what the
Bible says. They worship the Bible but they don’t obey the Bible. What does the
Bible say, who is the Word of God? 
The Bible who is thee faithful witness, thee faithful witness to Jesus
Christ says. We read in John 1:1-5 “In the beginning was the Word, and
the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 He was in the beginning
with God. 3 All things came into being through Him, and apart from Him
nothing came into being that has come into being. 4 In Him was life, and
the life was the Light of men. 5 The Light shines in the darkness, and the
darkness did not comprehend it.”

 This witness, the Bible, this faithful witness, the Holy
Scriptures testify of Jesus Christ. This is the most faithful witness of Jesus
Christ. The Holy Scriptures from the beginning to the end testifies about Jesus
Christ. The first covenant and the second covenant and through the Bible we
gain understanding and we are led to the Word of God which is Jesus Christ
Himself. The Word became flesh and He dwelt amongst us, Jesus Christ Himself.

 But you know what? People don’t want to accept the Word
Himself who is Jesus but they will spend hours with the witness, the Bible but
they don’t want to talk to the Word Himself. They don’t want to listen to the
Word Himself to Jesus Christ Himself.

 And therefore Jesus also said to the Pharisees. He says you
seek the Scriptures, the Bible in there to find eternal life but you refuse to
come to Me to have eternal life.

 That is why the majority of Bible believing Christians will
not enter the Kingdom of Heaven. Because they believe the witness, the Bible to
be the Word of God instead of believing what the witness, the Bible says that
Jesus Christ Himself is the Word of God.

 Now I want to ask you? Do you believe what the Bible says,
do you believe what the faithful witness says, the Holy Scriptures, that Jesus
Christ Himself is the Word of God or do you believe that the witness, the Bible
himself, is the Word of God?

 Lie 2: All Christians will go into heaven

 People have been led to believe that all Christians, all
believers will go into Heaven. That is not true. Very few, extremely few
believers will go into heaven. The only way that we will have access into the
Kingdom of God, is if we have a relationship with Jesus Christ, if Jesus knows
you. Have dedicated your life to Jesus and do you live in obedience to Jesus
Christ? That is the only way that you will enter into Heaven. Jesus Christ
Himself is the Way, He is the Truth and He is the Life. Nobody comes to the
Father apart from through Jesus. He is the narrow Door through which we will
enter. And He said He will say to many people on that day: Go away from Me I
never knew you. The only way that we will get into Heaven is if we had a
relationship with Jesus. He said: My sheep know My voice and they follow Me
John 10:27. If you do not know His voice and you do not have a relationship
with Him and you do not obey Him you will not enter Heaven. He will say to you:
Go away I never knew you.

Do you know Jesus?
Do you have a relationship with Him? Do you hear His voice? Do you think you
will enter into Heaven?

 Lie 3: Church members are the Body of Christ

 Church members are not the Body of Christ. The Body of
Christ are those people who are in a relationship with Jesus Christ. Those
people who have a spiritual connection with Jesus Christ Himself. He said: My
sheep hear My voice and they follow Me. And Jesus also said: without Me you can
do nothing. Jesus Himself is the Head of the Body and He Himself directs each
and every one of the limbs of that Body. The only way that you become a part of
the Body of Christ is when you get into a relationship with Jesus and you obey
Him.

 Firstly you obey His commandments, they are written in the
gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke and John. Secondly but most importantly you have
a relationship with Him and He puts His Spirit in you and He communicates with
you through His Spirit. You hear His voice, you obey Him every day and you do
what He tells you to do. If you are not guided by the Holy Spirit, you are not
part of the Body of Christ. He says: those who are lead by the Spirit of God,
they are the sons of God. Romans 8:14. The only way that you can be part of the
Body of Christ is if you are lead by the Head Himself. Not by your own mind but
by the Spirit of Christ.

 So if you don’t have the Spirit of Christ, which is the
nerve system with which He directs the Body then you are not part of the Body
of Christ.

 Lie 4: You can’t loose your salvation

 Many people believe it and it is preached by many Churches
that you cannot loose your salvation. Salvation is not a possession. Jesus
Christ is Lord, He is God Almighty and He decides who goes into Heaven and who
not. Jesus Himself is Salvation, as long as you are in a relationship with
Jesus Christ you are safe. But when you turn away from Jesus you are lost.
Jesus said, we read in John 3:19 “And this is the condemnation, that light is
come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their
deeds were evil.”

 Jesus Himself is the Light. If you live in a relationship
with Jesus then His Light shines on you all day and He speaks to you and then
you are saved as long as you stay in the Light. But when you turn your back on
the Light you are in darkness. Any sin that comes into your life, any sin that
you commit makes a separation between you and Jesus. And unless you repent of
it immediately you are in darkness and you are lost. For the duration that
there is sin between you and Jesus you are lost.

 Salvation is not anything to be had as a possession. Jesus
loves you and He will never reject you but if you allow any sin to come in
between you and Jesus you are lost for the duration of that sin. While that sin
is between you and Jesus you are lost. If you should die you should go into
hell, you will not go into Heaven. Salvation is not a possession, you must
treasure Jesus and make sure that there is nothing between you and Jesus ever.
When you are in a close relationship with Jesus, with no sin in your life for
that time you are saved. As soon as sin comes you are cut of from Jesus.

 Lie 5: The commandments of Jesus are optional

 The biggest mistake that you can ever make is to disregard
the Words of Jesus Christ. People preached many doctrines and teachings but
there is only one teaching one doctrine that matters at all. And that is the
Words and the commandments of Jesus. Before Jesus left, He said to His
disciples, we read in Matthew 28: 19-20 “Go therefore and make disciples
of all the nations, baptizing them in the Name of the Father and the Son and
the Holy Spirit,  20 teaching them to observe all that I
commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”

 We shall be saved through our obedience to the Words of
Jesus. There is nothing more important than the Words of Jesus. Jesus said
nothing on His own account. He did nothing on His own initiative. Everything He
said and He did was under guidance of the Father. We will be judged by the
Words that He spoke. Nothing in this world is more important than the Words of
Jesus.

 We read what Jesus said in John 12:47-50 “If anyone hears My
sayings and does not keep them, I do not judge him; for I did not come to judge
the world, but to save the world. He who rejects Me and does not receive MY
SAYINGS, has one who judges him; the WORD I SPOKE is what will judge him at the
last day. 49 For I did not speak on My own initiative, but the Father
Himself who sent Me has given Me a commandment as to what to say and
what to speak. 50 I know that His commandment is eternal life;
therefore the things I SPEAK, I SPEAK JUST as the FATHER HAS TOLD ME.”

 So if you disregard the Words of Jesus my friend, then you
have signed your own death warrant. That is all that matters, THE WORDS OF
JESUS. Now the Words of Jesus were recorded by four witnesses, it is written in
the four gospels, Matthew, Mark, Luke and John for us to read, to memorized and
to obey. Jesus puts His Holy Spirit into the hearts of those who follow Him and
who accept Him into their hearts, into their lives. The Holy Spirit of God that
comes and lives in you will testify and will remind you of all the Words that
Jesus said. And He will explain what is to come, there is no other way. Only
the Words of Jesus Christ and don’t disregard it, those Words are eternal life.

 Lie 6: Only believe in Jesus to be saved

 There is a popular teaching which is a lie. It teaches that
if you believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, you will be saved, that is only half
of the truth. The full truth is that if you believe in the Lord Jesus Christ
you OBEY HIM.

 Jesus said why do you call Me Lord, Lord and you do not what
I say. If you believe in Jesus, you obey Him. Satan also believes in Jesus but
he does not obey, he shudders because he knows that his day is coming, he is
not obeying Jesus Christ.

 Jesus Christ gives only salvation to those who obey Him. We
read in Hebrews 5:8-9 “Although He was a Son, HE LEARNED OBEDIENCE from the
things which HE SUFFERED. 9 And having been MADE PERFECT, HE became to ALL
THOSE who OBEY HIM the SOURCE of ETERNAL SALVATION.”

 My friend if we do not OBEY JESUS we shall not enter the
Kingdom of Heaven. Because disobedience is sin and the wages of sin is death.
So if we refuse to obey the Savior we will not be allowed into His Kingdom.
Then we refused to accept Him as Lord and as King and as Master then He is not
our Lord, He is not our King, He is not our Master, He is not our Savior. OBEY,
BELIEVE and OBEY then you will be saved.

 THE Absolute TRUTH: Jesus Christ is Lord supreme

 There is only one Truth and that is Jesus Christ, the King
of kings and the Lord of lords and He is the only passage into the presence of
God. He is the Judge. He is the Door through which we enter. We shall live by
His Words. If we do not accept Him as King and Master and Lord of our lives we
will not enter into His Kingdom. His sheep know His voice, they follow Him
every moment of their lives. They obey Him, they do His commandments, and they
are guided by His Holy Spirit and He is their King and their Lord and their
Master. There is not other way. He is the Alpha, He is the Omega, He is the
Beginning, He is the End. Everything was made for Him and to Him and through
Him and in Him all things hold together. He was He is and He is to coming. He
is Lord Almighty unto Him has been given all power in Heaven and earth. Every
knee shall bow and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord. There is no
other way. He will say to many people on that day: Go away I never knew you.

 Do you know Jesus today? Do you follow Him? Do you obey Him?
Have you become part of His Kingdom? Are you a servant in His Kingdom? There is
ONLY ONE WAY and that is THROUGH JESUS CHRIST. Jesus Christ is Lord.
