There is this modern conception that born again people can sin. That is a lie from hell my friend, whoever taught you that is not born again, he has never seen Jesus Christ or if he has he has left him long, long time ago. Because Christ was very, very clear on this.
Jesus said: Truly, truly I say to you every one who commits sin is the slave of sin John 8:34. Whomever the Son has made free will be free, he will be free from sin, he will not sin my friend. Christ has nothing to do with sin.
We read in 1 John 3:4-6 “Everyone who practices sin also practices lawlessness; and sin is lawlessness. 5 You know that He (Christ) appeared in order to take away sins; and in Him there is no sin (There is no sin in Christ). 6 No one who abides in Him sins (So if you abides in Christ, you do not sin at all); no one who sins has seen Him or knows Him.” So if you sin you haven’t seen Him, you don’t know Him. Because if you have seen Christ, then you turn away from sin, you run from sin and you obey Jesus Christ. God is a terrible God, a God who hates sin. If you have Jesus in your heart you will not sin you will run from sin. We read further in 1 John 3:7-10 “Little children, make sure no one deceives you; the one who practices righteousness is righteous, just as He is righteous; 8 the one who practices sin is of the devil; for the devil has sinned from the beginning. The Son of God appeared for this purpose, to destroy the works of the devil. 9 No one who is born of God practices sin, because His seed abides in him; and he cannot sin, because he is born of God. “ If you are born again my friend you will not sin, zero sin, you will stop sinning. You will do what Christ wants you to do. You will stop sinning totally. Now verse 10 By this the children of God and the children of the devil are obvious: anyone who does not practice righteousness is not of God, nor the one who does not love his brother.”
My friends do not let us deceive ourselves. If you are born of God you have no desire for sin and you stop sinning immediately. You have no desire for that TV, you have no desire for this world you are on a different course. A Person who is born again has died to sin he has died to himself, he has died to this world or else he is just not born again and is not going to heaven. The moment Jesus Christ comes into your life you change totally and totally and you hate sin. If Christ comes into your life all sin goes, all vices go, everything goes because you repent, you go on your knees at the foot of the cross and you repent of your sin and you embrace Christ. In Christ there is no sin, it is clear there is no gray area in between there is only one way and that is the way of the cross. Jesus said whoever would come after Me must pick up his cross daily and follow Me.
If you pick up a cross you are dead my friend, you are dead, dead meat. There is no time for sin, there is no time for the world, there is no time for yourself. You deny yourself and you follow Jesus and you obey Him but there is no sin. Whoever sins is of the devil. He says: 1 John 3:10 “By this the children of God and the children of the devil are obvious: anyone who does not practice righteousness is not of God, nor the one who does not love his brother.”
There are many Christians who are backbiting, slandering, attacking other people. If you do that you are not born again my friend, you are on your way to hell. If Christ is in you, you will love your brother, you will not hate your brother, you will not gossip, you will not slander, you will love your brother, you will pluck him out of the fire. Also you will have no communion with hypocrites, you will separate yourself from them like Jesus did. He said to the hypocrites, the Pharisees: “You do the works of your father and the devil is your father.” A person who does sin is from the devil my friend. So if you’ve got sin in your life you are of the devil and you need to repent. You will not go into heaven with any sin in your life none of us. We must turn away from sin totally and we must follow Jesus Christ. If we don’t do that we are going to hell. There is only one way if you accept Jesus Christ as your Lord as Lord, Master and Savior: You obey Him one hundred percent, without arguments. No arguments with the commandments of Jesus my friend. You are just to pleased that Jesus has saved you and He is giving you opportunity to go into heaven. You obey Him and are baptized, you are baptized in the Holy Spirit, you walk in the Spirit and you seek Jesus Christ day and night. You pray day and night you seek Him. My friend there is only one way and that is the way of the Cross, the way of total repentance and following Jesus Christ with your whole heart. There is no other way, it is Christ’s way. If you sin you are a sinner, if you sin you have never seen Jesus Christ. If you sin but you may have seen Him but you have left Him. Are you sinning or are you following Jesus Christ? Make up your mind my friend follow Jesus today or you will not go into heaven with Him. That road is narrow, if you go that road there is no sin allowed not one.
