Have you ever been cheated? Have you ever understood things wrongly?
And then discovered that you were wrong afterwords. There are many
Christians that are confounded, they believe wrongly and they are going
to wake up too late and realize that they have been confounded.
Many
believers are totally deceived into thinking that their salvation is
based on how they apply the scriptures. The scriptures have no saving
power. People have been taught to apply a few scriptures like a formula
for salvation.
These people are concerned about "their"
salvation, as though it is something that they own and they defend it.
They are concerned about their doctrines, their interpretations and
their knowledge of scripture. They quote scriptures and phrases like:
"the finished work of Christ on the cross"; "eternal security" and they
defend these things.
THE TRUTH NEEDS NO DEFENSE it stands on it’s own legs. We need to FIND THE TRUTH.
Salvation
is not a procedure, it is not a pill, it is not a shot in the arm.
There is only one way to salvation and that is KNOWING and FOLLOWING
the SAVIOR JESUS CHRIST.
The root of this confusion amongst
believers lies in a misconception about Jesus Christ. Christians do not
know and realize who Jesus really is. They have read about Him, they
have heard about Him but they got a totally wrong idea. I want to
remind you who Jesus is.
We read in Matthew 28:18 "ALL AUTHORITY has been given to ME (JESUS) in heaven and on earth."
Do
you believe that? Do you believe for one minute that ALL AUTHORITY has
been given to Jesus Christ in heaven and on earth? Do you believe that?
Does that make sense to you, the implication of that? HE IS GOD
ALMIGHTY, ALL POWER BELONGS TO HIM, ALL AUTHORITY.
Jesus said in John 5:22 "For not even the Father judges anyone, but He has given ALL JUDGEMENT to the SON (JESUS)."
Do
you know who is going to JUDGE you and me? Do you know? JESUS CHRIST my
friend. Did you know He is that important? Do you really believe it?
Jesus
also said in John 12:47-48 "If anyone hears My sayings and does not
keep them, I do not judge him; for I did not come to judge the world,
but to save the world. 48 "He who rejects Me and does not receive My
sayings, has one who judges him; the word I spoke is what will judge
him at the last day."
Do you understand that phrase or is it just
something that sits in your head that you have heard before. Do you
realize that we will be JUDGED BY EVERY WORD that JESUS SAID, that is
WRITTEN IN THE BIBLE, fom Matthew, Mark, Luke, John. The WORDS OF JESUS
are WRITTEN THERE. We will be JUDGED by the JUDGE ACCORDING to THOSE
WORDS. Does it make sense to you? What else matters then?
Do you REALIZE that the ONLY PERSON THAT really MATTERS in your life and mine is JESUS CHRIST and WHAT HE SAYS, WHAT HE THINKS?
Not
our interpretation of the scripture ,our friends or whatever, there is
only one thing that matters and that is JESUS. WHAT DOES JESUS THINK?
HE KNOWS EVERYTHING ABOUT YOU and ME and HE IS THE JUDGE. There is
going to be nobody else to represent me, not my scripture knowledge not
anything that I want to apply. I am going to stand in front of Jesus
and I will have to explain and HE KNOWS EVERYTHING ABOUT ME already.
Do
you realize that if you know this and you don’t take action about it
you are wasting your time thinking that you will ever get into heaven?
Because there is only ONE WAY to get into heaven
Jesus said: "I AM the WAY, and the TRUTH, and the LIFE; no one comes to the Father but THROUGH ME (JESUS)" John 14:6.
We
are going in through Jesus or we are not going in there at all. There
is only ONE NARROW DOOR and that is JESUS CHRIST. There is no other
Door, there is no back door only one.
You can KNOW ALL THE SCRIPTURES IN THE BIBLE my friend but if JESUS DOES NOT KNOW YOU, HE WILL NOT ALLOW YOU INTO HEAVEN.
JESUS IS THE LIVING WORD, HE IS GOD ALMIGHTY. He must be the absolute authority in your life, nothing else but JESUS.
Jesus
said in Luke 6:46 "Why do you call Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ and DO NOT DO WHAT
I SAY?" So if Jesus is the Lord of your life, you will do what He says
because you will believe He is going to JUDGE you. You stop playing
around with scripture and with other people.
Place yourself in
front of JESUS now, right now JESUS THE ETERNAL JUDGE, right now you
are standing in front of Him. Ask yourself: Does Jesus know you, me?
How
much time did you spend with Jesus in the last week? Is He the most
important Person in your life? IS HE? Answer that to yourself.
Did
you go after Jesus? Did you deny yourself, pick up your cross daily and
follow Him every day of your life. Do you live by the Words of Jesus,
the words HE SPOKE that are written in the four Gospels and in your
heart if you have accepted Jesus into your life.
Did you obey
the voice of Christ speaking inside of you? Did you or did you not?
Answer for yourself. When last did Jesus speak to you, my friend? He
says MY SHEEP KNOW MY VOICE and THEY FOLLOW ME. Does He speak to you?
Do you HEAR do you LISTEN are you INTERESTED? Do you KNOW HIS VOICE?
I want to ask you: Can you answer YES to all those questions, can I answer YES?
Those are HIS REQUIREMENTS FOR ENTRY INTO HEAVEN not all the clever jargon. How do you stack up against these questions?
