The biggest mistake anyone can make is to not
fear God. Popular teaching in many churches today is: Don’t fear God,
He is your Daddy. Jesus is your elder brother! People have been taught by
churches to loathe Jesus Christ. People have more respect for their church
leaders than for God.
How much respect do you see nowadays in
churches, which they refer to as: The house of God?
Churches have become eating houses and
social clubs, where everything goes as long as the money flows.
Before a Sunday meeting people laugh and
chat, you would think it is some sports gathering. You would expect them to
show some reverence. People dress up like they are going to a beach party.
These same people remove their shoes and
leave them outside when they visit the temples that were built for idols by
people of different cultures – out of respect they say. They respect idols but
they don’t respect God. They call themselves Christians, yet they have no
respect for God Almighty.
There is no respect in their public prayers,
by the church leaders. They speak to God and Jesus as though they are servants
or objects. Prayer time is when they arrange the band to start the “show”.
It’s the time when they walk around and
arrange the props for the show. No wonder the world has no respect for God. The
“Christians” taught them that.
Those people are not Christians my friend,
they don’t know God – those who do, act differently.
Christians and churches that teach you to
“not fear God” are in partnership with Satan who told Eve not to fear God, and
we all know what the consequences were. Adam, Eve and all mankind were
separated from the presence of God forever.
It is not clear
which diversion of the Bible these churches use as it is written in Psalm 89:7
”God is greatly to be feared in the assembly of the saints, and
to be had in reverence of all them that are about Him.”
There is no other phrase as often mentioned
in the scripture as this one: FEAR GOD. Take any concordance and go look it up
FEAR GOD, you will get many scriptures on the FEAR of GOD.
The phrase “FEAR GOD” has been changed to
“softer expressions” in most new versions of the Bible. The “educated
theologians” have made it more “palatable” or should I say, “appealing” to new
converts. In the older versions of the Bible all references to Jesus and God
were in capitol letters. The godless theologians and publishers have changed it
to lower case, under pressure of the fallen church.
If you don’t have a version of the Bible
that teaches you the fear of God, you better get one or you will end up
in hell with those people who twisted the truth.
The truth is harsh
my friend: We are instructed to fear God.
The law of Moses
taught: We read in Deuteronomy 6:13 ”Thou shalt fear the
LORD thy God, and serve Him, and shalt swear by His name.”
Solomon, the wisest of all men that lived
said in Proverbs 1:7 “The fear of the LORD is the
beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and instruction”
What did Jesus say? Jesus was very clear, He said in Luke 12:4-5 “And I say
unto you my friends, Be not afraid of them that kill the body, and after that
have no more that they can do. 5 But I will forewarn you
whom ye shall fear: Fear Him, which after He hath killed hath power to
cast into hell; yea, I say unto you, fear Him. “
The believers have lost their
fear for God. It was the same in the times of the New Testament church.
Paul wrote to the Romans, we read in Romans 3:10-18 “As it is written, There is
none righteous, no, not one. 11 There is none that understandeth, there is none
that seeketh after God. 12 They are all gone out of the way, they are together
become unprofitable; there is none that doeth good, no, not one. 13 Their
throat is an open sepulchre; with their tongues they have used deceit; the
poison of asps is under their lips. 14 Whose mouth is full of cursing and
bitterness. 15 Their feet are swift to shed blood. 16 Destruction and misery
are in their ways. 17 And the way of peace have they not known. 18 There
is no fear of God before their eyes.“
The same people that teach you not
to fear God, the churches today, also teach about eternal
security, which is a lie from their partner, Satan. There is no such
thing. Eternal security was devised by the apostate church to attract members.
We are justified by faith in Jesus
when we become obedient to Him. We shall be judged by our works of
righteousness and not by our faith. A person who believes in Jesus, turns away
from sin and he works righteousness. That is faith in action. If we turn our
back on Jesus and live in sin, we shall be cut off, like a branch that does not
bear fruit and we shall be cast in the fire. Any person that tells you
differently, is leading you to the same destination where they are headed,
hell, because they are lying my friend.
Let us read about the destiny of backsliders who do not repent. We read in
Hebrews 10: 26-31 “For if we sin willfully after that we have received the
knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins. 27 But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation,
which shall devour the adversaries. 28 He that despised
Moses’ law died without mercy under two or three witnesses. 29 Of
how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath
trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant,
wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the
Spirit of grace? 30 For we know Him that hath said,
Vengeance belongeth unto Me, I will recompense, saith the Lord. And again, The
Lord shall judge His people. 31 It is a fearful
thing to fall into the hands of the living God.”
God is to be feared my friend, He
is to be kept in reference. Paul writes to the Philippians: “work out your own
salvation with fear and trembling.” Philippians 2:12.
We read in Hebrews 12:29 “let
us have grace, whereby we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly
our God is a consuming fire.”
It is a good thing
to fear God. It makes us turn away from sin and do righteousness. The fear of
God makes us seek the will of God, which is obedience to Jesus Christ, and not
only to read it, but do it.
Let us not forget
what Jesus said: Fear Him, which after He hath killed hath
power to cast into hell; yea, I say unto you, fear Him.
LET US FEAR GOD!
