Do you have extra oil in your lamp? Do I have extra oil in my lamp? We read in Matthew 25:1-6. “At that time the kingdom of heaven will be like ten virgins who took their lamps and went out to meet the bridegroom. :2 Five of them were foolish and five were wise. :3 The foolish ones took their lamps but did not take any oil with them. :4 The wise, however, took oil in jars along with their lamps. :5 The bridegroom was a long time in coming, and they all became drowsy and fell asleep. :6 At midnight the cry rang out: ‘Here’s the bridegroom! Come out to meet him!”
In March 2008 I heard this voice ring out “There comes the Bridegroom go out to meet Him” Jesus is coming.
I read from Matthew 25:7-13 “Then all the virgins woke up and trimmed their lamps. :8 The foolish ones said to the wise, Give us some of your oil; our lamps are going out. :9 No, they replied, there may not be enough for both us and you. Instead, go to those who sell oil and buy some for yourselves. :10 But while they were on their way to buy the oil, the bridegroom arrived. The virgins who were ready went in with him to the wedding banquet. And the door was shut. :11 Later the others also came. ‘Sir! Sir!’ they said. Open the door for us! :12 But he replied, I tell you the truth, I don’t know you. :13 Therefore keep watch, because you do not know the day or the hour.”
And this is how it will be, this is what our Lord said. He said that people will not be ready when He comes. Those ten virgins, they expected the coming of the Bridegroom and they were not all ready. Today Christians think they are ready, they are not ready, they don’t have oil in their lamps. They don’t even know what oil in their lamp means. Maybe accepted Jesus Christ, maybe they were baptized and now they believe they are saved, but they don’t have oil in their lamps. When Jesus calls us, when we start following Jesus He takes us like He took Israel. He took Israel from Egypt through the water through the Red Sea. He takes us through baptism. And then He took them into the desert. He takes you and me into the desert, why? To teach us His ways. Many people will never survive the desert experience, why? Why did Israel not survive the desert experience? Because they whined and they cried and they murmured. God was with them, He gave them a pillar of cloud by day and a pillar of fire by night for light, His Holy Spirit with them, to guide them, to protect them but still they whined and they moaned and they complained. He fed them with manna from heaven, but yet they whined and they moaned and they complained. He gave them meat to eat because they longed for the flesh pots of Egypt because they lusted, that is why He gave it to them. Because they lusted He gave them meat but you know what He did? The meat was scarcely in their teeth, they were not chewing it yet and then He struck them and He killed thousands of them.
If you are a Christian, if you say you are following Jesus and you are not in the desert my friend, then spiritually you might have died long ago, you don’t have oil in your lamp. What is the oil? That is the Holy Spirit fire that comes inside of you and me and burns out all the dross. Why did God take Israel into the desert, into Sinai? To teach them His ways to put His laws into their hearts to teach them, to follow Him, to teach them to trust Him. To get rid of all the dross and the rubbish inside them He gave them the laws. He gives us His laws in our hearts and we must listen. He gives us the Holy Spirit. We must obey Jesus’ commands and we must listen to the Holy Spirit. We must ask the Holy Spirit of God to come in and guide us. What did these people do? They said to Moses: Don’t let God talk to us, that is too terrible we don’t want to hear God, because God is a terrible God, you go up the mountain you go speak to God and then you come back and tell us. You know what they did? While he was on the mountain they got Aaron to build them a golden calf and they worship the calf. Today people do the same they get a pastor and the say pastor you go ask God what He wants to say to us and you come tell us then we listen. You know what they do they fornicate and some pastors fornicate with them because the pastors are after money and not after God.
The Lord Jesus spoke to me last night and you know what He said to me: Television is the big delusion that brainwashes the world they, believe everything they see on it. TV brought evil to the world, the Christians also believe the TV, not My Spirit they have chosen for themselves gods, soothsayers who control their lives. They watch them day and night these Television preachers they watch them day and night and don’t listen to Me. They spend hours listening to them but can’t spend time listening to Me. And you know what? While they are listening to these people they are fornicating with the world they don’t have the Holy Spirit in their hearts. And you know what happened with Israel? God struck them down in the desert. Of all those people that left Egypt six hundred thousand men plus, and not counting the women and children counted, God struck them down, only two of them went through into the Promised Land. Now that must make you and me think. Why did He strike them down? He gave them the covenant, He gave them the law, He gave them His Holy Spirit to guide them. He gave them manna from heaven and yet they moaned and they whined. Many of us Christians, we whine and when God takes you into the desert where there is no café where you can’t go buy meat from Egypt, where God tells you to make a choice between the world and between Him. Then we whine and we moan, when God puts us through the scourge, we cry. You know what He did with them He struck them dead in the desert. We love ourselves, we love not Jesus Christ. That is the price of following Jesus Christ, it is to go into the desert. Many Christians say to me, don’t preach repentance you will chase the sinners away. These Christians are sinners themselves they don’t love God. They love themselves, they love the world, they love sin, they love Egypt, they want to go back into the world. You know what, God will strike you down. He will delete your name from the Book of Life. Read Revelations 3:2-6 He says if you do not overcome He will remove your name from the Book of Life, don’t be deluded. Don’t believe the television and other preachers that tell you that you are saved eternally, they are going to hell with you, they will not go into the Promised Land, they don’t have oil in their lamps, because they don’t believe in Jesus Christ, they want the money from your pocket, they lie to you they indoctrinate you, they twist the Bible. All these translations of the Bible that is a lie from hell. Nobody can even today quote a Bible text why? Because there are so many translations and delusions of the Bible itself. They don’t have the Word of God, in their hearts or in their minds. All they got is television and television preachers. And all they listen to is the muck on the television and they believe that. And if you say to them God spoke to you, they didn’t see it on television so they don’t believe it. But I tell you what, you are going to be struck down in the desert. You will not see God’s glory you will not go into the kingdom of heaven, you are not saved. And if I told you, you are saved I am a liar myself. I am not saved, I am still in the desert. I am following Jesus Christ. I have the Holy Spirit of God in me. If you have oil in your lamp my friend you will be testifying to the world if you have extra oil then you will be overflowing with the power of God you will have something to share with somebody else. But if you are criticizing somebody who is bringing the gospel and the truth, then you are working for the devil, because you are not following Jesus Christ. You are the same as those guys; those Israelites that rebelled against Moses and said let us choose for us a leader and let us go back to Egypt. Because there at the fleshpots we had meat, we had leeks, we had garlic it was nice there. You are exactly the same and you know what God did, He struck them down in the desert. You must get oil in your lamp, you must get Jesus in your heart, you must get on your knees you must follow Jesus, you must read your Bible and don’t listen to that trash on the television. Get on your knees and follow Christ otherwise you will end up where Israel ended up. They never went into the Promised Land. Pick up your cross daily and follow Jesus Christ. Get His Holy Spirit into your heart and let Him guide you. Let His Fire come into your life, then you will be able to do what Jesus wants you to do. You won’t be moaning and whining and dying in the desert. You will be in the power of the Holy Spirit. God will speak to you, you will hear Him, you will trust Him you will be like Joshua and Caleb who went through into the Promised Land who rejoiced when they saw the day of the Lord coming. They were glad to see the Promised Land the others were not there anymore. The Christians don’t see the Promised Land anymore. They are so engulfed in their televisions that they’ve got no desire for Jesus Christ, no desire for God and they think they are going into heaven, they are deluded. Wake up my friend wake up the call has gone out “there comes the Bridegroom, go out to meet Him.” Get oil in your lamp. You have the time now, prepare, go, get your oil in Jesus name, I bid you.
