June 26, 2008 – INCENSE, THE PRAYERS OF THE SAINTS (Christiena Boshoff)
I heard: Incense, the prayers of the saints.
“Now when He had taken the scroll, the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders fell down before the Lamb, each having a harp, and golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of the saints” Revelation 5:8.
“Then another angel, having a golden censer, came and stood at the altar. He was given much incense that he should offer it with the prayers of all the saints upon the golden altar, which was before the throne. And the smoke of the incense, with the prayers of the saints, ascended before God from the angel’s hand” Revelation 8:3-4.
It is the hour of incense, children of God, we must PRAY! Do not stop praying, and intercede for the world for the terrible times ahead of us. Prayer may turn the wrath of God away from us. Now is the time to stand in the gap, breach for nations, families, friends, and colleagues, the unsaved, let us pray while there is time. “ Had not Moses His chosen one stood before Him in the breach to turn away His wrath, lest He destroy them” Psalm 106:23. I sought for a man among them who would make a wall, and stand in the gap before Me on behalf of the land, that I should not destroy it; but I found no one” Ezekiel 22:30.
Ask for grace and mercy to bestowed upon the world that more souls will be saved for the kingdom and for God’s glory, and many spared from all the turmoil. Pray! Our prayers are rising up towards God, its like incense to Him (Ps 141:2); He will hear, answer, and show mercy, if we pray. Let us give Him glory, honor, and praise His wonderful Name. He is worthy, He is God Almighty.
Praise and worship God our Father and Jesus our Lord and Savior who lives forever and ever. They are worthy of our worship and praise. “But the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in Spirit and truth; for the Father is seeking such to worship Him. God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.” John 4:23-24.
“And the whole multitude of the people was praying outside at the hour of incense” Luke 1:10.
